I had been suffering from a painful hernia for some years and my symptoms had become quite debilitating. These included frequent heavy bloating and stomach pain. I had been referred for the standard surgical procedure on the NHS but a colleague who had the same procedure experienced a significant amount of pain following the operation and a very slow recovery resulting in him being absent from work for several weeks. I therefore ‘chickened out’ of having it done on the NHS and continued to suffer the symptoms described above. I then discovered Manchester Hernia and referred myself to Mr Saeed at the Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle. Despite finding that I had quite a severe and painful hernia, he was confident that the procedure would be effective and so it turned out to be. The procedure itself was short and painless and I knew little about it as I was sedated. I did not experience any pain subsequently and although I did take several days off work, I was able to return to my normal work life within a week of the procedure. My hernia has now banished and I no longer have any symptoms. I am totally delighted with the the outcome and I would highly recommend Manchester Hernia Clinic it to anyone suffering from the effects of a hernia. My insurance company, AXA PPP would not cover the procedure and therefore I paid privately. I am aware that Bupa and a couple of other insurers do cover the procedure. However even although I had to pay privately I believe it was good value considering the benefits that have resulted.
After successfully undergoing an operation at the Alexandra Hospital for my epigastric hernia, I know I should make the time to explain how grateful I am to you for making such a significant difference to the quality of my life. Most pleasing has been how easily things have been corrected despite me having left it far too long before seeking your help. Thank you.
I have suffered from very a painful painful and discomforting hernia over the last three or four years, often going months with no problem and then being struck with an occurence usually at the most inopportune time. I am an active person juggling a busy working life with freelance activities as an outdoor instructor and it isn't funny working with the threat of problems like this especially when teaching an enthusiastic group of hardy outdoor enthusiasts. My life was put back on track via surgery performed by Mr Mo Saeed of the Manchester Hernia Clinic with a small additional procedure earlier this year. Like many other people, I now find who have this problem I had dreaded the possibility of not being able to do all of the active things I enjoy. This would most certainly have affected my business not to say my lifestyle. I would thoroughly recommend Manchester Hernia Clinic and Mr Saeed’s experience and kind disposition without hesitation to anyone who experiences hernia related problems.
I recently underwent a hernia repair at the Manchester Hernia Clinic at BMI The Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle. The treatment I received from all staff involved was consistently excellent and the incision has healed without any problems. Post operative pain was minimal. Accommodation at the hospital was of a comparable standard and I have no hesitation in recommending this clinic to anyone in need of a similar procedure.
I would like to take this opportunity to say how thankful I am to have received a successful remedy for my hernia. Prior to this my condition caused constant discomfort and had an adverse impact on my daily life, as well as restricting my ability to participate in more outdoor and adventurous activities in which I would like to have engaged. I would thoroughly recommend that anyone suffering from the same condition should immediately go and get booked in with Manchester Hernia Clinic. The procedure was quick, effectively painless and had no significant residual pain or problems. I felt up to going jogging just two days afterwards. In my opinion the operation has been a complete success on all accounts.
